UPDATE!! NEWSFLASH!!When Marie and I did this, we only had a standard "turist" DV camera with a BAD built-in microphone. Back home, I played the Prelude again with a better mic. while watching the video and added it to the film. I had to do this because it was 100% impossible to hear the guitar/music from the actual take. This is a production! with edited footage and sound. But we didn't plan this at all and did it just for fun. We thought you should share the joy we felt doing it.Please listen to the music! and "feel" the atmosphere in Rome! It was just as nice as it looks.Per-OlovThis is a video we made in Rome 2 weeks ago. Not planned or prepared for but what the heck; we had great fun doing it! :))Thanks to the people of Rome that put up with us at 2am in the morning...Hope you will have the same thing we had making it: A GREAT TIME! Sorry: no TAB's :)Thank you all, for being out there, and still listening. You're the best!Per-OlovThanks Marie...Pelle
Here we are again, playing in the streets of Rome in the middle of the night! This is just behind Pantheon. Marie said; There! Sit there and play! I love the light! Aaaand.... ACTION! I am playing Federico Moreno Torrobas "Torija" from his "Castillos de Espagna"Thanks to Marie for holding the camera so long without shaking...Eres la mejor!I am also proud to announce that my arrangements, compositions and transcriptions are now available for purchase/download at http://www.per-olovkindgren.com/ It is still growing so if you don't find a piece, it will be there soon. This is an arrangement of E. Taube's Tango I made for a student many years ago. Lyrics by Scottish poet Robert Burns 1794:O my Luve's like a red, red rose,That's newly sprung in June:O my Luve's like the melodie,That's sweetly play'd in tune.As fair art thou, my bonie lass,So deep in luve am I;And I will luve thee still, my dear,Till a' the seas gang dry.Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear,And the rocks melt wi' the sun;And I will luve thee still, my dear,While the sands o' life shall run.And fare-thee-weel, my only Luve! And fare-thee-weel, a while! And I will come again, my Luve,Tho' 'twere ten thousand mile!Taube travelled many years in Argentina, the "Pampas" and his music is very much influenced by that fact. For Marie... with love.Pelle
